Food Stamps Bonus for Missouri

WOW... Missouri has a population of about 5.6 million people. Of those fine Missouri folks, around 300,000 FAMILIES (not just individuals) receive food stamps.

300,000 Families!

Now...Missouri's average family size is 2.48 persons. So times that by 300,000 and we have about 744,000 people on food stamps in Missouri.

So.... one out of every 7 or 8 people in Missouri are living on food stamps.

Is the federal government concerned?

Apparently not as per their annoucement of Missouri's winning a $4 million bonus for being among the "most accurate" in dispersement of food stamps in the nation.

Wow...a $4 million bonus for obeying the law.

Not 100% accuracy mind you...but among the "most accurate." So, I guess they follow the law more than most.

And the government is passing out awards for it.

Sheesh.

my ex daughter in law receives $450 a month in food stamps, lowered rent, and utilities,$1000 in child support, $750 a month in maintainence, got over $50,000 in settle ment money, has gone to every church around for hand out mostly over christmas last year,my son asked for his kids 50% of the time they live within blocks of each other she said she would agree to this if her maintainence and support remained the same, all monies she receives goes straight to her fathers account so she never has too much in hers, meanwhile I can proudly say my son works everyday keeps up with his support payments and takes the kids even when it isn't his days just because he loves them, why do people get away with so much? i have turned her in to food stamp program, but will it do any good or do they think I am being vindictive, My husband and I have both worked over 40 years to pay our taxes and I wonder how many others are pulling this same scam.
